Shooting Days

Clay pigeon shooting is fantastic, all year round experience even if you have never shot before. It is a skill that anyone can learn. 

Our session starts with a full safety briefing, at our shooting ground at Kielder. 

Then it is off to the shooting ground, where we will have a number of targets set up to entertain and challenge you. 

We will ensure you hold the gun correctly and show you how to hit the clay targets. 

We then have a break in the barn for coffee and cake.

Then we go back to the shooting ground and each person will have shots at various targets. The clays pigeons can be; going away from you, coming towards you or crossing in-front of you. 

Transport to and from the shooting ground is provided. Our days include use of shotgun, cartridges and clays.

On a  typical day you can expect to shoot around 50 clays at a cost of £80 per person. 

We can tailor a shooting experience to your requirements to include lunch, evening meal and a longer shooting experience.

Our hen biscuit has had 5 healthy baby chicks.

They are now safely in a shed keeping warm and dry away from the winter frost.
